hi, we are interested in you Regio Pro. subject . We are also a local authority as I mentioned google group's page. If you want we can make contact and make a project about the subject :"Reading & Literacy - skills and strategies in library services" Our instution : Artvin Province National Education Directorate is a state department in charge with the planning and coordination of all kinds of educational and training activities in pre-school, primary, secondary and adult education in Artvin Province. Our institution includes many departments such as; training teachers and In Service Training, Adult education, Culture, Health, Research and Development, Projects, Special Education and Guidance, and Sports departments. In addition, it provides, together with ministry of education and mayor, financial support and investment for the above mentioned institutions and departments. The institution is responsible for 1800 teachers, 545 full time working personnel , 30.000 students, 142 primary and secondary schools,9 pre-primary schools and 8 in-service and adult training centres. The institution creates projects in the local, national and international levels. It is in cooperation with all other local, regional and national institutions since it is a state organization.On international level, our institution has two Leonardo projects. National Education Directorate one of main aim is to help teachers to have access to practical and emotional support to improve their wellbeing, professional effectiveness personal fulfilment and creativity.Many in-service trainings are organizing for teachers by In-service trainings department .
