Dear Colleagues, As you know, last December the European Parliament signed the Regulation of Erasmus +, the new EU Programme in the fields of education, training youth and sports for the period 2014 – 2020. Erasmus + will finance the mobility of students, apprentices, volunteers, youth workers, teachers and staff employed in the educational sector at different levels, youth exchanges and sport events. We are ready to work under new Programme and to reinforce our cooperation, guaranteeing the quality and the success of your mobility projects. You can choose ASTERISCO, because …. ASTERISCO acts in the field of international mobility, as Coordinator - Sending Partner (SE-PA), Intermediary Partner (INT-PA) and Hosting Partner (HO-PA). Thanks to our previous experience, as a hosting and sending organisation in the framework of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme, and thanks to relevant results achieved, ASTERISCO started a specific Area dedicated to the promotion and diffusion of Italian Language, exalting the cultural tradition of our land, Sicily, and to the mobility activities. So is born InSicilia-Italian School of Language, a project in which the learning of the Italian Language is connected to the value of a patrimony of culture, art and creativity of which Sicily and, especially, Palermo are protagonists. What are the services and the support offered? Having worked in the past years in the field of mobility, incoming and outgoing, our team is able to understand and evaluate the needs and requirements of its Partners and of all actors involved and we will able to plan and organize the best mobility programme in Palermo, designed on specific target and specific needs indicated by you. We are able to offer you the organization of: periods of traineeships (work placements or vocational training placements) for your students (from Higher Education Institute, School, VET Organization, Adult Education Organization) in local enterprises (in different sectors such as Culture, Tourism, ICT, Food&Drink, Agriculture, Graphic, Aircrafts, etc.) or in any other relevant Organization; training events, structured courses, period of job shadowing, observation, training, study visits in different hosting organizations (Enterprises, Schools, or other relevant organizations active in specific fields) for your teaching and non-teaching staff. ASTERISCO provide a full range of services to the groups hosted, as following described: Organization of Mobility Programmes, Welcoming and Socialization activities, Airport Transfer, Research of Accommodation, Italian language courses (General, Business, Sectorial), Local Transport, Monitoring and Tutorship activities, other Social and Cultural activities. We are also available to participate in the field of YOUTH EXCHANGES, because we know, thanks to our previous experience, that the exchanges allow to young people of different cultures to meet and strengthen values like solidarity, tolerance, friendship, democracy and so on.
