Mikas BalkeviciusProject manager at Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences Evaluation and Recognition of Non-formal and Informal Competences for Med. Nurses, Ergotherapists, Kinesitherapist. In the labor market of medical care there are a lot of specialists of Med. Nurse, Ergotherapists, and Kinesitherapist with low qualification, but with a great practical experience who seek for professional bachelor in the College. That‘s why it‘s important to evaluate and recognize their practical knowledge and competences in order to provide easier route to higher education diploma on the one hand and help to stay competitive in the labor market – on the other. For this reason there‘s initiated new project that aims to create a the new methodic for evaluation and recognition of prior learning – non-formal and informal competences for Med. Nurse, Ergotherapists, Kinesitherapist. Project tasks: • Create methodical portfolio for the candidate for recognition of his/her nonformal and informal competences; • Create methodical guide for evaluator how to evaluate and recognize candidates non-formal and informal competences; • Test methodical instruments in practice.
