Rasa Baužytė Project Administrator at Klaipeda Science and Technology park Our organization is interested to participe as a partner. We are Klaipeda Science and Technology park (KSTP), which has been operating as regional business support organization for ten years already. KSTP has more than 40 member companies-tenants acting in the innovation environment and the global market. During the ten years of work KSTP has established a network of partners wide world enabling boundless collaboration possibilities. The mission of the KSTP is to promote the development of modern scientifically susceptible technologies, to provide infrastructure and consulting services for innovative enterprises and business ideas in Lithuania. We have some experience in EU-funding projects, including international and regional level, which are oriented to such applications as: Innovations Advancement (Communication; Training); Fostering Entrepreneurship; Technology Transfer; IP Management (Mediation in the preparation of patent applications, preparation of R&D Projects); International Cooperation (KSTP can offer a wide network of contacts, export development, foreign partners search facilities), etc. Much attention is paid to young people and their entrepreneurship promotion. At the moment we are implementing 2 international projects: * maritime education with the changing job market for a new generation of Baltic Sea experts. GenerationBalt. (Suoth Baltic Programme). Main project activity is the international Generation BALT supplementary study programme, covering 5 courses, designed around the maritime sectors with largest development potential identified by the foresight. Target group are skilled and ambitious last-grade students and unemployed graduates from the region. In course of intensive match-making activities participants will have a chance to meet their potential employers, arrange an internship and possibly a job. * of VET language teachers’ competences in intercultural training.” (The Lifelong Learning Programme). The objectives of the project are to provide opportunities for partners to share and exchange best practice among the participating countries in the area of intercultural training in language education. To do research of the needs of VET language teachers in intercultural training and to create an innovative methodology framework of intercultural competence development in VET language education.
